Give the Dog a Bone: (One Act): Elderly woman with broken hip bone refuses to go into nursing home, to the dismay of her long-suffering daughter. She surprises the daughter by announcing the woman’s twin sister, living in France, and whom they’ve not seen for thirty years, will take care of her. When the sister arrives she brings a bone to pick with her old mother; one that involves unlocking a skeleton from the cupboard of the past.
Interview (One Act): When Frank Uccisi applies for the job of Slug Control Officer, little does he know what the job really entails...or how much the interviewer knows about his past. A black comedy, relevant to the present day economic climate.
The Hut (One Act): Two English Lovers whose relationship is strained go on a hiking holiday in the Black Forest. Looking for a hikers hut where the boy hopes great sex with his girlfriend will cement their friendship they are transported by a time-warp back to a town in Nazi Germany. The boy is forced to dig potatoes and the girl (half-Jewish) 'given' to a family whose handsome son believes he's an Aryan God. A farce with a darker side.
The Other Nathan (One Act) : Middle aged couple's marriage put under strain when the failing aunt of Nathan, the doctor husband, and his only surviving relative, starts telephoning several times a day. The wife threatens to leave him yet again when Nathan goes down to Devon to sort things out for the old lady... resulting in shocking revelations about his family's past. Dark comedy.
